Emily is a co-president of the Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) where she works diligently on initiatives such as expanding on-campus impact to local Asian communities within Atlanta, forming two dance teams, managing the growth of the organization from 200 to 400 members, and fundraising over $10,000 for Messengers of Love. Emily also co-founded and leads Girls in Engineering, a partnership with the Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics and Computing (CEISMC). Together, their efforts received a grant from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs from the U.S. Department of State. This project is also a major part of Emily’s Millenium Fellowship Cohort.
