Augustine, a second-year Ph.D. student specializing in analytical chemistry, is proudly from the Oti region of Ghana. As founder and president of Ghanaians at Georgia Tech and vice president of the Black Graduate Students Association, Augustine consistently promotes unity among the Black student community by working with other Black student leaders to participate in community service events and ensure that voices are heard.
